RAG Week 2017
Our Sixth Form students are busy organising a packed programme of fundraising events for RAG Week, which runs from Monday 20th March-Friday 24th March 2017. They hope to improve on the £1200 raised for charity last year. The aim is to have as much fun as possible while raising money for our three chosen charities:
St Christopher’s Hospice – local charity
Cancer Research UK – national charity
Comic Relief – national charity
There really is something for everyone – click here to view advertisements for all the activities organised by the Sixth Form. Please note the document indicates a daily costume theme for the Sixth Form Students and staff, and this is not intended for students in Years 7-11, who should come to school in their uniform as usual.
Red Nose Day – Friday 24 March 2017
Friday’s events will be dedicated to raising money for Comic Relief. It will be a mufti day for all students, who may wear red-themed clothing, for a minimum donation of £1. Red noses will be on sale in school.
There will be a competition between all tutor groups to raise as much money as they can. Tutor groups that raise £60 or more by the end of the school day on Monday 20th March will be invited to take part in the Warlingham Mannequin Challenge! All participating tutor groups will be filmed at some point during Red Nose Day doing the Mannequin Challenge. A panel of staff will then chose the best Mannequin Challenge and the winning tutor group will win a pizza lunch!
Details of all these events are being advertised around the school and students will be kept informed by their tutors.
The School wishes to raise as much money as possible and we hope that students will enjoy taking part in some of the activities planned.
