Warlingham School's partnership with Udjombala Junior Secondary School in Ohaingu in Namibia is stronger than ever. A group of students and teachers travelled out to Nambia over the February half term break to further develop the link by experiencing first-hand Namibian life in this small village.
The party left the UK and travelled to Windhoek where they were transferred to a Safari Lodge near Otavi to spend their first night in Africa. The next day the group were driven to Ondangwa near Etosha National Park.
On the third day, students and staff went to Udjombala School where they were introduced to the school and took part in an assembly.
Later in the week, Warlingham students stayed overnight in the homes of their exchange partners who will be coming to the UK in the near future to experience life in the UK.
