Helping a Campus School

David Blackman, the current headteacher at Hamsey Green Junior School, is retiring at the end of term and the Local Authority is consulting on an amalgamation of Hamsey Green Infant and Junior Schools. Until this is resolved, interim arrangements are being made regarding the leadership and management of Hamsey Green Junior School and Alison Woodhosue, Headteacher of Warlingham School has been asked to support this. This means that, during the summer term only, Miss Woodhouse will be based at Hamsey Green Junior School (on Warlingham School campus site) for one day each week.

Mr Bradwell will take on increased responsibilities at Warlingham School in the role of Associate Headteacher during this period to ensure that it is “business as usual” at Warlingham. Both Mr Bradwell and Miss Woodhouse will be available to meet with parents as required in the usual way.
