GCSE Exam Success

Warlingham School & Sixth Form is delighted to be celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE exam results:

  • Over 83% of students gained a 4-9 grade in Maths and in English.
  • Over 24% of students gained a top level 7-9 grade in English and almost 20% in Maths.
  • Overall results were an improvement on last year’s already excellent outcomes with rises in Basics (English and Maths) 4-9 grades and 5-9 grades.

Joint Heads of School, Mr Day and Mr Kinder are delighted that the hard work of students and teachers has been rewarded, and said, “We are extremely pleased with the level of effort and commitment of students over the last two years.  It has been a real pleasure to see so many excited students and proud parents this morning.  We are confident that this group of students are particularly well-equipped to go on to the next stage of their education having attained such excellent GCSE grades.

We look forward to welcoming many of them into Warlingham Sixth Form College in September to continue their learning and achievement. Congratulations to each and every one of them - we hope they are proud of themselves. We would also like to thank the staff for their dilligence and dedication in supporting our students.”
