Two Reports of Suspicious Behaviour by Strangers in Local Community

There have been two incidents reported over the last two weeks, of students being followed by vehicles on the way home from School.  Both incidents involved Year 7 students and parents have reported to the police. The first incident involved a black Toyota on Friday1st February and a white van on Monday 4th February 2019.

Students should remember to stay safe when on their way to and from School.  The main strategies should be:

Stay together wherever possible

Never approach a car you don’t know

Never respond to conversation from someone in a car you don’t know, tell if you are worried.

If there is a shop close by go in and ring home

If parents/carers have any immediate queries, please contact:

Mrs Needs, Assistant Head Teacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead

The Heads of House, Mr Gunn, Mrs Haynes, Mr Cole or Mr Mills.
